We live in suburbia and have the most beautiful 15 week old rooster that came from my daughter's kindy as a baby chick. As much as we wanna keep him Im preparing myself for the fact that we are not allowed to have him here and we desperately want to find him a good home so he can do his job as a rooster. He is the best and most protective rooster with our girls and yet brilliant with us. He loves our daughter and he even lets you pat him. He has never once bitten us or anything. We are devastated that he has to go so want to find him an acerage to go on. He's beautiful and his crow is divine. I have been locking him up until 6:30 am which deters his crowing for now so he is good enough to not crow for now. He's a really good boy. Doesn't seem to crow unless you let him. Just wish I could depend on that we would keep him but I know eventually that wont work either. He is 15 weeks old and such a beautiful bird.
