I have some terrific young black girls available. These girls should be ready to lay between 19 and 24 weeks, being a crossbreed they will lay most of their eggs in the first three years, but should continue to lay for a year or two beyond that.
Naturally, with a longer laying cycle they can be continue to be part of your family for years to come.

These are very quite birds and good with kids

We invite anyone that is considering enlarging their family with some extra girls for egg laying,
to come out to our place before they make their final decision on breeds, have a look at all the different breeds we carry, talk to us about what your needs are, and what you would like out of your new family members.

Before you decide on which chook you would like to take home, watch them running around for a while, see how they interact with other birds and handle them yourself before you get them home.

See the conditions your new girls are living in, if you can't see how they are kept, how do you know what your buying

If you were adopting another child into your family you would want to get to know your girls first, wouldn't you?

*Birds can also be picked up each sunday at the Newcastle Farmers Markets, at Newcastle Showground, you will need to order them so I can bring enough down.

*Please bring a suitable box or cat cage to carry them home in!
