Young trio of a rare breed of chicken, lakenvelders were only imported into Australia a few years ago. They are a dual purpose breed. Breed for egg laying and meat, however most of the Australian ones tend to be good egg layers, without tendency to go broody. A beautiful breed to add attractive birds to your yard.
